Our Water
Every litre that leaves our plant at Garden Estate goes through the same treatment sequence, in the same order, every time. Here is exactly what that involves.
The Treatment Process
Pre-treatment filtration
Incoming water passes through filter housings that remove sediment and particles before it reaches the finer stages.
Reverse osmosis
Water is forced through a semi-permeable membrane under pressure. This is the stage that does the heavy work of purification.
UV sterilisation
Treated water passes an ultraviolet steriliser as a final safeguard before storage.
Stainless-steel storage
Finished water is held in a stainless-steel tank kept for treated water only.
Careful filling
Containers are filled at our filling station and checked before they go out on the delivery round.
How We Handle Refill Containers
Refillable 20L and 10L containers are inspected and cleaned before refilling. A container that is cracked, badly scratched inside or has been used for anything other than drinking water will not be refilled — we will tell you and offer a replacement instead. It is a small thing, and it is the sort of small thing that decides whether water is worth drinking.

What is in the plant
Our Garden Estate plant runs a reverse-osmosis purification unit with pre-treatment filter housings, a UV steriliser, a dosing pump, a stainless-steel storage tank kept for treated water only, and a filling table with a multi-nozzle filling manifold. Filling is semi-automatic — a person is present at every stage, which is exactly how we want it.
